Returns & refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something is not right, contact us and we will help with the next steps.

Our 30-day returns policy

You can return an unwanted item within 30 days of delivery under our additional returns policy if it is unused and unfitted, in its original packaging and in a resaleable condition. Returned items are checked before a refund is issued.

This additional policy does not limit your statutory cancellation rights or your rights when goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Your online cancellation rights

For most online consumer purchases, you can tell us you wish to cancel within 14 days after receiving the goods, then return them within a further 14 days. You do not need to give a reason. Any applicable legal exceptions will be explained before purchase.

You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. A deduction may apply for handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Original-packaging and unused-item conditions in our extra 30-day offer do not remove these statutory rights.

How to arrange a return

Email info@dynoelectrics.com or call 07483 129391 with your order number, the item and reason for return. We will provide the correct return instructions and postal address.

For an in-person return, contact us first to arrange it and bring your invoice or order confirmation. For a postal return, package the item securely and include your order details. A tracked, insured service helps protect the parcel in transit.

For a change-of-mind return, you pay the direct return-postage costs. If the item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, contact us so we can arrange the appropriate return and reasonable return costs.

Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method. For statutory cancellations, we refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you sent them back, whichever is earlier. We also refund the standard outbound delivery cost where it was paid; an upgrade above standard delivery is not refundable under the cancellation rules.

Please include your order information so we can identify the return. We inspect returns promptly; inspection does not extend statutory refund deadlines.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Contact us promptly with the order details, a description of the issue and photos where possible. Do not dispose of the item until we advise. We will review the issue and arrange the remedy required by law, which may include a repair, replacement or refund. Faulty-goods rights are separate from change-of-mind returns.

Warranty claims

Alternators, starter motors and dynamos have a 12-month warranty. If a fault develops, contact us with your order details and we will guide you through the claim. Contact us for component-specific warranty information. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Business purchases may be subject to different agreed terms. Please contact us to discuss your purchase.
